This has been a nice day. Took a ride to the country store I like in Harmony Township. Didn't buy a thing but noticed that all of their stuff is made in China which disappointed me. The jars of stuff like jelly and preserves were American but that was about it.
Then we went across the street to the antique mall and looked around and I bought two tole magazines for a 1.00 each.
I am making another Christmas doily and it is pretty easy so far. I finished my doll outfit for the smiling Itty Bitty . Then I will be making another one for the pouty doll.
DD went to the pumpkin show in Circleville and called when she got home and said they had a nice time and the van they borrowed was really nice. They had a great day for it.

It is still hot here but supposed to start cooling down Tuesday. I have been working on some crochet items I can't talk about yet one is a surprise for someone and one may not work out for my Bitty Baby doll.

I feel like all I did this weekend was eat out went to Cracker Barrel Friday night, had pizza Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning at Frisch's. But I did cook last night and will tonight.

The kids next door got married Saturday they have lived here over a year and finally did the deed I feel like they planned it well don't know them at all but take care of their house and yard. I guess they went to Jamaica for the honeymoon.

I have been studying how to paint like they do on some of my forums some are so good and the stuff is cute. I received my ornies from Frosty Friends swap that is them above. It is a lot of fun to do this and now we are having a Christmas Exchange so that will be nice too.

It has been a weird day some sun some clouds and 79. Not too bad.
Went to Steak and Shake for supper had their chili it was good this time. We try to space out the places we go to like every few weeks or so.
I talked to a good friend and she was telling me about another friend of hers (this was Monday) the woman is very sick she says, this morning in the paper was her obituary, she had died on Sunday and my friend didn't know it when I talked to her. The woman had a genetic liver disorder and needed a liver transplant. There are no services just a dedication to her at her church on Tuesday she was 62.
I have met a lot of people on line who make me feel like I really know them. They are such good people. Only a very few have disappointed me not personally but by what they have done on line and posted. I think they don't realize how they come across to others when they snipe at someone.
I am reading a very good book by Luanne Rice called ____Dance with Me. She is such a good writer I can't put it down. I usually get 7 or 8 books at the library every month and sometimes one is not very good so I have a list of authors I typed out so I can keep track of the ones I like to read most.

Let me try this again it has been another hot one but relief is on the way. I went to Lowe's today and bought a new houseplant that is pink. No direct sunlight for it though.

Watched the race in Dover and heard about JohnForce's terrible wreck but he isn't hurt as bad a they first thought.

Dancing with the Stars is on tonight I have been looking forward to it.

I received my gifts from my secret pal at Frosty's forum, that is what the photo is.

I am also in a swap at the Parlor for Harvest and sent the stuff to a girl in Vancouver but no one has heard from her for over a month so I don't know what is going on they are checking to find out.

I have a really nice lady I am swapping links with over at the Mania it is hard to find things for clothing since I don't crochet clothes but I hope she likes the links I sent.

It is has been a nice day still too warm for September but at least it is not humid. I have finally gotten some of my projects done and have started another doily in pink. It is the Dove doily.

Our neighbor across the street has the nicest dog a mixed breed named Chip and he supposed to be put to sleep because of his bad hip. It makes me upset I did see him limping a little but I don't think he was in pain. This dog has the most pleasant expression and seems so happy I hate to see him go but if he is suffering I understand.

The trees are just starting to turn color and won't be all down until November it takes forever for the maple tree.

We had cheese dogs for supper not very hungry. Will make a coconut pie for tomorrow and dd visit.

Another beautiful day here in the neighborhood sunny and not too hot. Beautiful blue skies. I talked to my oldest friend here in Columbus today it has been awhile but we made up for it on the phone. She doesn't live very close but we try to keep in touch.

I went to Hobby Lobby to buy some things and got some thread 3 balls on sale for 1.17 each, a wooden tray, and a set of brushes for 3.99. I didn't have any small good brushes so now I do but they are cheap ones. I want to learn to paint on wood better and there is a lot to learn. It's hard to find patterns on the internet but I have gotten a few.

I am on my last book from the library so I will be going Tuesday to get a lot more I especially like Luanne Rice's books I have read a few of them and they are so interesting. Also Belva Plaine.

This is the pumpkin I painted last week it turned out good. My DH cut it out for me. The girls at Frosty Friends forum have inspired me to keep going LOL.

Good Wednesday here

We are having some great weather now only 70 deg. Was in 40's this am. I finalllllyyy received the 2 doll heads I ordered from South Dakota it only took 19 days but what the hey. Anyway I have the started the yellow and purple doll for DD. She will be surprised.

Our new TV for kitchen is not satellite friendly so we have to use two remotes but hey nothings perfect. It is a cute TV and can be heard in 5 languages.

We went to Bob Evans' for supper and I had their Chili-cheese salad and it was good. They also have pumpkin bread now for the fall.

This is our Cairn terrier Maggie and this is where she hides when it storms. She is such a good girl.
